GENERAL QUESTION

For more information about the newest promotion for registering a new domain, please contact our sales team at sales@webserver.com.my.

Please ensure the domain is which environment, either cPanel or Plesk hosting, and follow the below step to set up a URL for redirect purposes:

1. cPanel

  • login cPanel > Domains > Redirects > choose redirect type and domain > enter redirects address

2. Plesk

  • login Plesk > Website & Domains > Change hosting type to forwarding > enter destination address
  • * Please be reminded that making the existing domain a domain forwarder will remove all current website data.
  • Please send the request from your authorized email address to suppor@webserver if you use the older Plesk version.

  • For non .my domain, you can change it from the client area page. 
  • For .my domain, you need to contact authorized Technical contact. The technical contact can be verified on MyNIC WHOIS https://mynic.my/whois/ and enter the domain name.

The server administrator only generates the CSR code. Please email our support@webserver.com.my to ask for assistance to create and proceed with renewing/installing SSL Certificate.

For shared hosting users, it is prohibited to set forwarding to any Free Email such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, outlook.com, etc, to maintain the email reputation.

You may update the invoicing party to ACME COMMERCE SDN BHD in your Mynic portal and inform our sales to renew the domain for you. For more information, please visit https://staging.webserver.com.my/domain-transfer/.

  1. Purchase the New Hosting
  2. Export Your Website’s Backup Files
  3. Download Your Database Backups
  4. Move the Files and Database to the New Host
  5. Point Your Domain Name to the New Server
  6. Review your Site before it goes Live
